Peter Fink. My Mind's Eye is the first major publication about the photographer, revealing
his extraordinary diversity and images of dynamic beauty. Beginning as a designer
in the USA, Fink traveled from the 1950s to the 1970s throughout postwar Japan, France,
Portugal, the Americas, and North Africa, photographing workers and people on the
street. Arts and culture are recurring themes, as well as surreal portraits, fashion,
still-lifes, and his radical Refractions - reflections on architecture. During his
lifetime Peter Fink was honored with fifty solo exhibitions throughout the world,
and his work is held in museums such as the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York City,
and the MMK Museum für Moderne Kunst, Frankfurt am Main
