historique au cœur du centre-ville de Dublin. Le livre évoque pour son auteur, Peter
O'Neill, la pensée de Walter Benjamin et l'univers de Charles Baudelaire. Mais plus
encore, Henry Street était aussi la rue où James Joyce devait contribuer à faire découvrir
le premier cinéma au public irlandais il y a maintenant plus de 100 ans. C'est donc
cette triade d'auteurs - Joyce, Benjamin et Baudelaire qui animent constamment le
recueil. // Henry Street Arcade is a bilingual collection of poetry, translated wonderfully
into French by the French poet Yan Kouton, and which is inspired by a historic shopping
arcade in the heart of Dublin city center and which evokes for the author the ideas
of Walter Benjamin and the poetry of Charles Baudelaire, but more over, Henry Street
was also the Street where James Joyce was to help bring the first cinema to the Irish
