Résumé : Witnessing the success of their last editions, AFIAP has set up an expert working
group responsible for preparing the third edition. This new edition has been approved
by the ministerial decision BSERR No. 16-034 dated 23 February 2016, and it should
be applied on or after January 1st, 2017. This guideline takes into consideration
the feedback from many years, and introduces new appendices. This work enables the
users to expand the scope of the application of the requalification method, taking
into account the continuous developpments : technical and technological innovations.
To maintain the integrity of the equipement over time, and therefore ensure their
good working and safety, their monitoring, conducting inspection periodically in accordance
with regulatory requirements and/or professional rules of monitoring. The acoustic
emission, used over 3 decades in the industry, is currently one the few testing technics
that is used to control an equipement at an overall level, regardless the nature of
the damage that could be identified. [source éditeur]
