הספר "משנה ותוספתא כתובות: נוסח, פרשנות ועריכה" כולל מהדורות חדשות של מסכת כתובות במשנה ובתוספתא ומציע דגם חדש של ההדרת שני החיבורים האלה במקביל, כדי להמחיש את תלותם ההדדית ולהקל על קריאתם הסינופטית. המבוא עוסק בהרחבה בסוגיות מרכזיות בחקר המשנה והתוספתא, ובייחוד בסוגיות הקשורות לביקורת הנוסח של שני החיבורים הללו, ומסביר את העקרונות המונחים ביסוד המהדורות הכלולות בספר. לאחר מכן מחולקת המסכת, הן במשנה והן בתוספתא, ל-16 חטיבות נושאיות. לפני כל חטיבה באה הקדמה המתמקדת בסידור החומר שבה במשנה ובתוספתא ובטיב הקשרים בין שני החיבורים הבאים לידי ביטוי בחטיבה. לאחר מכן מובאות שתי המהדורות, כאשר קטעים מקבילים במשנה ובתוספתא מוצגים במידת האפשר זה מול זה. כל אחת מן המהדורות מלווה בשינויי נוסח נבחרים ובפירוש. -- כריכה אחורית
