: 'regio'), numérotés en chiffres romains, eux-mêmes divisés en 'insulae' (quartiers
avec habitations et monuments publics), numérotées en chiffres arabes - normalement
une 'insula' désigne un immeuble, mais à Pompéi, le choix a été fait de la désigner
comme un îlot urbain. L'insula 10 de la regio VII, petit îlot, se trouve vers le centre-est
de celle-ci,.
