Le centre, fondé en 1974 par l'écrivain Tom McGrath (1940-2009), a fermé ses portes
en 1991. - Dans le même bâtiment s'est installé le "Centre for contemporary arts"
qui a inauguré ses premières expositions le 1er mai 1992.
