Khatuns
Vedette matière nom commun. S'emploie en tête de vedette.
Titre, équivalent féminin de "khan/khagan (qan)", donné à l'impératrice, la reine,
puis la veuve de l'empereur mongol. Il désigne aussi une "dame" de la haute noblesse.
Il a fait son apparition sous la forme "qasun" chez les Xianbi. Pendant l'empire mongol,
le terme utilisé est "qatun", prononcé plus tard "khatun" et écrit "khatan" aujourd'hui.
Utilisé par les populations mongoles et turques ("hatun" en turc veut dire "dame"
ou "femme"), il a donné "kadın".
