Bataille de Krusi (1796)

4 octobre 1796 (22 septembre selon le calendrier julien) : victoire à Krusi près de
Podgorica des Monténégrins commandés par le vladika Pierre Ier sur le pacha de Shkodër
Mahmoud Bušatlija (Kara Mahmoud), qui est tué et décapité. Cette victoire donna au
Monténégro une indépendance de fait par rapport aux Ottomans et lui permit d'annexer
la région des Brda (Montagnes du nord).
