Questo studio di Luca Fiorentino analizza l'album di disegni di Claudio Francesco
Beaumont, artista piemontese del Settecento che divenne primo pittore della corte
sabauda. L'album, composto da 309 disegni (non tutti di mano di Beaumont) entro nelle
collezioni comunali del Museo Civico d'Arte Antica di Torino nel 1931, dopo essere
stato conservato dall'autore stesso e in seguito dalla sua famiglia. La ricerca è
suddivisa in due sezioni - il saggio critico e il catalogo, composto da schede dettagliate
e redatte secondo i moderni parametri scientifici ; This study by Luca Fiorentino
analyzes the sketchbook of Claudio Francesco Beaumont, an 18th-century Piedmontese
artist who became the leading painter of the Savoy court. His sketchbook, which includes
309 sketches (not all by the hand of Beaumont), came into the collection of the Museo
Civico d'Arte Antica of Turin in 1931, after having been preserved by the artist himself,
and then by his family. The research in this study is divided into two sections: a
critical essay and a catalog, which is made up of detailed records and compiled according
to modern scientific parameters
