Lullingstone Roman villa (GB)
Vedette matière nom géographique. S'emploie en tête de vedette ou en subdivision.
Une des plus luxueuses villas romaines d'Angleterre (1er-4e siècles), à env. 1 km
du village d'Eynsford (Kent), notamment dans le pavement et les mosaïques (ex : l'enlèvement
d'Europe). On a supposé que ses riches propriétaires étaient certainement de confession
chrétienne : en attesteraient des motifs autant chrétiens que païens (symbole christique)
et la présence d'une petite chapelle dans l'enceinte de la villa.
