Partie occidentale du Kosovo autour de la vallée du Drini i Bardhë. Parfois appelée
Dardanie en référence au peuple dardanien qui l'aurait occupé dans l'Antiquité. Elle
comprend les 3 districts de Gjakovë, Pejë (Peć) et Prizreni. Les Dukagjini étaient
une famille comtale, dont le représentant le plus célèbre fut Lekë III Dukagjini (1410-1481).
