Irlande -- 1801 (Union avec la Grande-Bretagne)

28 mars 1800 : vote de l'union avec la Grande-Bretagne par les deux chambres du Parlement
d'Irlande (où ne siègent que les Anglicans). 2 juillet 1800 : vote de l'Union with
Ireland Act par le parlement britannique. 1er août 1800 : l'acte d'union irlandais
reçoit le royal assent. Ces actes fondent le Royaume-Uni de Grande-Bretagne et d'Irlande
; le Parlement d'Irlande est aboli, et l'Irlande représentée à Westminster par 100
députés et 32 lords. L'Union entre en vigueur le 1er janvier 1801.
