Pashupatinath (Népal)

Un des plus anciens et plus sacrés lieux de l'hindouisme himalayen, le Pashupatinath (ou temple de Pashupati), grand temple aux toits d'or est dédié à Pashupati, le "Maître des âmes", déclinaison locale de Shiva, et se trouve dans les environs est de Katmandou (Deopatan), au bord de la Bagmati. Inscrit sur la Liste du patrimoine mondial de l'Unesco au titre du bien "Vallée de Kathmandu" (1979, ext. 2006).
