En 1900 la plupart des congrégations de la Free church fusionnent avec la United presbyterian
church pour devenir la United free church. - En octobre 1929, la United free church
rejoint la Church of Scotland. - Une minorité de congrégations subsiste donc sous
l'appelation Free Church of Scotland.
