Tunceli (Turquie ; province)
Vedette matière nom géographique. S'emploie en tête de vedette ou en subdivision.
Province de l'Anatolie orientale ; chef-lieu : Tunceli. Longtemps, la région s'appelait
de son ancien nom kurde, Dersim (ville et entité provinciale), qui fut, au 19e siècle,
sous l'Empire ottoman, vilayet (province), puis sandjak, inclus dans le vilayet de
Mamouret-ul-Aziz (capitale : Hozat), avant de devenir province après la Première guerre
mondiale. Mais, après la rébellion kurde et le massacre de Dersim (1936-1938), l'État
turc renomma catégoriquement "Tunceli" ville et province.
