Berthold Furtmeyr est un célèbre miniaturiste allemand du 15 ème siècle. De 1470 à
1501, il a dirigé à Ratisbonne un atelier d'enluminure extrêmement florissant. Avec
la "Münchener Furtmeyr-Bibel" (Cgm 8010 a) et le "Salzburger Missale" (Clm 15709–12,
plusieurs tomes), la Bayerische Staatsbibliothek détient ses manuscrits les plus prestigieux..
